I bloomed hundreds of AWESOME BLOSSOM babies and quite a few were truly beautiful with contrasting eyes and edges. As a group they were flawed in being too short, too evergreen, and in bearing too much resemblance to parent AWESOME BLOSSOM. OVER THE BORDER was not only our best AWESOME BLOSSOM seedling, but is blessed with an overall incredible plant. Picture a 5 1/2" bloom done in peachy pink and a bold black purple eye and edge even darker and more contrasting than AWESOME BLOSSOM. This beauty blooms on a big hard dormant plant with deep blue-green foliage atop a 38" tall scape, with evenly spaced branching from top to bottom. OVER THE BORDER can have 5-6 way branching and 35-40 buds on an established plant. Fragrant and an easy parent both ways.
