RADIANT RUBY JEWEL

(Benz) tet 36" M. Ev. [Tet. Ed Murray X (Hiodoshi x Tet. W-29)] RADIANT RUBY JEWEL is the only deep ruby-red we've seen that holds this type of intense color saturation in the hottest sun. Pollen parent is an evergreen sib to ROYAL GUARDSMAN, and when you combine that type of substance with ED MURRAY and the result is RADIANT RUBY JEWEL. 5 1/2" blooms are held up and out on tall, very-well branched scapes. Bud-count hovers around 25. The color is one of the most intense lacquered shades of ruby-red I've ever seen, and color holds all day even to the deep emerald green throat. Blooms are gently ruffled and embossed with a wire edge of purest snow-white. This white edge is carried through in the next generation, and one of its f-1 seedlings sports a quarter inch white border. Fertile both ways, but a rather difficult pod-parent. Still the results are worth the effort. $100.00
