No easy feat as TRIUMPHANT ENTRY is our personal favorite of all our pre "RUFFLED PERFECTION" yellows, by virtue of flower size, 3 3/4" petals, superb overall plant habit and consistent re-bloom. . The 6 1/2" blooms on BUILT TO LAST boast 4" wide petals and this daylily is larger in both flower and plant than parent TRIUMPHANT ENTRY. Moreover, BUILT TO LAST displays these breathtaking blooms up and out on a tall well-branched scape with 3 lateral branches and a total of 22 buds. True lemon yellows are scarce these days and most of the new "yellows" are polychrome blends of melon and gold. Often beautiful, but nothing carries across the garden like a pure lemon yellow. We feel this is one of, if not our finest lemon yellow to date. Extremely fragrant. Fertile both ways, but pods are difficult. Re-blooms well here in zone 6. FALL ONLY $150.00
