The converted pollen-parent in this cross is one of the many excellent diploids sent to me by talented placeStateTennessee hybridizer Wes Kirby. This was a very pretty 4.5" cream-with purple eye, but the tet conversion is so much more spectacular it doesn't even appear to be the same daylily. An inch larger and petals 3/4" wider with much more intense cream petal color and a nearly black eyezone, this incredible bloom is producing many truly exciting new eyes, in shades from black and red to nearly navy blue. BAND OF BROTHERS is the first of a series of introductions from this parent, and truly excellent in every respect. Add Tet.
